Question: What’s better than an intense Saturday morning workout to get the blood pumping, wake you up and energize you for the weekend to come?
Answer: That same workout, surrounded by 2,000 fellow fitness enthusiasts, watching the sun rise over the beauty of Red Rocks Amphitheater.
That’s what CorePower Yoga is offering up this summer with its fifth annual Yoga On The Rocks series—four classes of 60-minute power vinyasa sessions, held at sunrise, set amid the natural beauty of one of Colorado’s most iconic venues.
“Yoga On The Rocks has become a Colorado summer tradition, and we’re excited to continue sharing our unique practice with thousands of new and seasoned yogis,” says Joy Shanley, a CorePower studio manager who will kick off the 2017 series by leading the first sunrise class. “Red Rocks provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable experience.”
It’s a pretty enticing offer any way you look at it, but this year, there’s added incentive to sign up for a class. To celebrate the series’ fifth anniversary, CorePower is partnering with First Descents, a Denver-based nonprofit that provides free outdoor adventure trips to young-adult cancer fighters and survivors. CorePower will donate one dollar from every Yoga On The Rocks ticket sale to First Descents, so you can feel twice as good about participating in this one-of-a-kind Colorado event. It’s good for your body, its good your mind, it’s good your community. Win-win-win.
Yoga On The Rocks will run July 29, August 5, August 12 and August 19 at 7 a.m.. For the dedicated yogi hoping to attend all four classes, four-packs of tickets go on saleThursday, April 6 at 10 a.m. for $52. Tickets to individual sessions, only $14, go on sale April 8, at 10 a.m.
Insider tip: These are hot tickets. Attendance is limited to 2,000 practitioners per class, and classes sell out very quickly.
