Mark your calendars: Dazzle is on the move.
The long-standing, popular Denver jazz club is saying goodbye to its Lincoln address for a new home at the historic Baur’s building at 15th and Curtis streets.
Slated to open June 1, the new location is within walking distance of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and Auraria Campus, and will feature a main stage for music, a gallery stage that will exhibit favorite Colorado artists and décor that celebrates the 19th-century building. Dazzle also will offer a new menu.
The final curtain call at the Lincoln Street address is May 21, with a show featuring the Ninth and Lincoln Orchestra and composed and conducted by Tyler Gilmore, Dazzle’s original jazz music director.
Michael Schreier, Dazzle’s music curator, also announced a collaboration with the Music Appreciation Society. The two will work together to curate local and national performances.
