Those of us who can’t survive the morning without at least one cup of Joe sometimes forget that coffee is something worth savoring instead of just sucking down. And with so much quality coffee in the state of Colorado, not taking the time to enjoy your morning cup is truly a shame. Luckily there will be plenty of coffee worth savoring at the second annual Grand Coffee Bazaar on October 17.
The event will showcase 12 local roasters, including Flying Baron Roasters, Novo Coffee, Allegro Coffee Roasters and more. A $20 ticket gets you unlimited coffee sampling, small bites from food trucks and coffee shops, a specialty coffee drink, a morning cocktail or beer and a keepsake mug.
Festival-goers also can enjoy an educational tour with information about the craft coffee industry. The tour will cover topics like the history and origin, processing, regions, roasting and brewing of coffee.
The Grand Coffee Bazaar will take place at 2810 Larimer St. in the Our Mutual Friend parking lot from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. For more information, visit the festival website.
