We’re big fans of happy hour, but sometimes the traditional five o’clock routine can become a bit monotonous. Maybe it’s time to trade in your typical post-work program for something more meaningful (don’t worry, it still includes libations).

Cocktails for a Cause (CFAC) hosts its next event in support of Hope House of Colorado Feb. 15 at the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. CFAC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that hosts three events per year to benefit charities in need of items and funding to better serve their constituents.

Hope House of Colorado offers free self-sufficiency and education programs to at-risk teen moms and their children, plus parenting, residential, GED, college and career support programs for teen moms in the Denver-metro area. The nonprofit also administers classes on healthy relationships, early learning, life skills and counseling and designs its programs to give these girls independence and direction. Last year alone, Hope House helped 155 teen moms and more than 225 children.

For just $10 you get dinner, wine and a chance to connect with fellow philanthropically minded women. Bring one of the items on Hope House’s wish list and you’ll be entered to win door prizes. Visit CFAC’s website to reserve your tickets.
