Arapahoe Basin
What: Ninth annual Save Our Snow Celebration
When: March 25
Why: Learn how to save Colorado’s powder with sustainability partners. Enjoy ski and snowboard demos from local companies with a $10 donation. Proceeds benefit the High Country Conservation Center.

What: Shakin’ at the Basin Spring Concert Series

Aspen Snowmass
What: Audi FIS World Cup and Free Bud Light Spring Jam
When: March 15-19
Why: View the Audi FIS World Cup Finals hosted in Aspen Snowmass for free. Find a full schedule of activities for adults and kids and three free Bud Light Hi-Fi concerts featuring performances by Michael Franti & Spearhead, Gogol Bordello and Vintage Trouble.

What: Flying Fridays College Special
When: Every Friday in March
Why: College students who present a valid college ID on any Friday during March will enjoy $49 all-day lift tickets and $24 half-day tickets.

Howelsen Hill
What: Free Ski Days
Why: Offered throughout the season, free ski days include a ski jumping clinic taught by coaches from the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. The next free ski day is March 12.

What: 26th annual Steamboat Pentathlon
When: March 4
Why: Pentathlon participants will compete in five separate stages: alpine skiing/snowboarding, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, mountain biking and running. For more information and to register, visit the event website.

Loveland Ski Area

When: The remaining season

What: 11th annual Kayaks on Snow

Why: Members of the 10th Mountain Division will exhibit some of the equipment they use—and guests will have the chance ski with members of the famed group.

Why: Watch as brave skiers and snowboarders attempt to cross a 100-foot long stretch of water.

What: Tubing Hill Party and S’Mores
When: March 13
Why: Fun for the entire family, chow down on s’mores and listen to music while you slide down the tubing hill from 2-4 p.m.

What: McDonald’s Cardboard Derby
When: March 18
Why: Watch participants build their own cardboard and duct tape derby cars before racing them down the hill.

What: Clauson Classic & Brewski
When: April 2
Why: See how many laps you can do on the Billboard and Tiger runs while you earn points and win great prizes. Finish off the day with the Brewski event, featuring beer tastings from local and regional breweries. The theme is Prom Night, so make sure to bring a date. Powder blue tux optional.

What: Sisters’ Meeting in the Mountains
When: April 7-9
Why: This event is for advanced and expert-level women skiers and snowboarders only and includes swag bags, a talk from action-sports heavyweight Circe Wallace and a girl-power party.

What: Bud Light Rocks the Boat Free Concert Series
When: Every Saturday through April 8
Why: Jam out to music from bluegrass and New Orleans style rhythm & blues to a traditional Irish sound to straight up rock and roll.

Sunlight Mountain Resort

What: Sunlight Safety Day

Why: Sunlight honors Brad Lanpher, a long time Sunlight skier, who lost his life to melanoma skin cancer. The day includes a free testing clinic and the opportunity to purchase discounted 2017/18 lift tickets. Proceeds benefit the Melanoma Research Foundation.

Telluride Ski Resort
What: Free Concert with G. Love and Special Sauce
When: April 2
Why: Celebrate the end of the winter season with a free concert.

Winter Park Resort
What: Springtopia Finale, Michael Franti
When: April 22
Why: Winter Park closes out the season with discounted lift tickets through the month of April. The Springtopia Finale concludes with a concert by Michael Franti & Spearhead.

Wolf Creek Ski Area
What: Fun races, local appreciation days, college days
Why: Fun races at Wolf Creek Ski Area are free and open to skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities. All guests can enjoy discounted lift tickets during local appreciation days: $44 for adults, $27 for seniors and $24 for children. College days offer students with a valid college photo ID a $44 discounted lift ticket.
