Talk about your lucky number seven: To celebrate its seventh anniversary, Strange Craft Beer Company is hosting a backyard barbecue with nine of its local brewery friends May 20, and you’re all invited.
Strange Craft, Denver’s first nanobrewery, opened in 2010, brewing one barrel of beer at a time, and has remained committed to small batches and One Barrel Wednesdays (for experimental brews). The company has since taken home multiple awards including two Great American Beer Festival medals and two World Beer Cup recognitions.
The anniversary festivities take place from 12-4 p.m., followed by a performance by Blooming Honeywise at 6 p.m. In addition to Strange Craft, breweries participating in the party include Wit’s End Brewing Co., Renegade Brewing Co., Hogshed Brewery, Caution Brewing Co., Copper Kettle Brewing Company, Black Sky Brewery, Chain Reaction Brewing Company, The Brew on Broadway and Very Nice Brewing Company.
Tickets, $30 at eventbrite.com or $35 at the door, include food vouchers for Spudz & Frank’s BBQ food truck and unlimited pours of more than 20 beers.
