Mini golf, Moscow mules and the Masters, all while making a difference? We’re there!

That’s the idea behind The Mule Majors, a first-of-its-kind event debuting April 7 at the Denver Sports Castle. For $65 (or $85 for VIP perks), you’ll get to play a nine-hole round of mini golf while drinking a different special mule (they’re unlimited!) at each hole.

Traditionally made with vodka, ginger beer and lime, the cocktail will be made into eight imaginative variants, including the Tropical Mule (with rum and passion fruit) and the Mexican Mule (featuring Peach Street Agave). Five small bite food pairings will also be featured along the course, compliments of local food trucks. VIPs get both an extra mule and pairing.

Adding to the fun, golf aficionados can watch round three of The Masters live or turn to a screening of “Happy Gilmore.” There will also be music, prizes, lawn games (cornhole, anyone?), an IV hydration bar and prizes awarded to best dressed (derby hats and golf attire are encouraged).

Tying all the fun together is a charitable aspect, so you can feel good about even more than your score. Proceeds will benefit Sports Buddies, a mentoring program sponsored by Big Brothers Big Sisters that gives young athletes chances to play while fostering positive relationships and learning good behaviors.
