National Tequila Day: Tequila Pineapple Popsicle

It’s five o’clock somewhere! National Tequila Day is here, and we’ve got your fix with a recipe for Tamayo’s latest boozy, refreshing treat: a tequila pineapple popsicle! Celebrate this mid-summer holiday with a colorful cocktail-on-a-stick, perfect for washing away any workday stress. Whether you’re putting your feet up on Tamayo’s rooftop terrace or recreating this popsicle at home, this should carry you through the rest of the summer.

Serves 16

4 cups frozen pineapple
¾ cup lime juice
¾ cup blanco tequila
⅓ cup Patrón Citrónge Pineapple
16 Popsicle sticks

Cut the pineapple into slices. Place slices into a freezer-safe bag and leave them to freeze overnight. Pour all ingredients into a blender and blend until fully mixed. Pour mixture into freezer pop molds and insert a Popsicle stick into each mold. Place molds into a freezer until frozen solid. Serve cold.
