Sophie’s Ice Cream Social benefiting Sophie’s Neighborhood
On Sunday July 18th – National Ice Cream Day – Sophie’s Neighborhood partners with Denver & Boulder’s finest ice cream shops and restaurants for Sophie’s Ice Cream Social!
HOW IT WORKS: Participating shops and restaurants will offer an ice cream or frozen dessert dedicated to Sophie’s Ice Cream Social, and will donate a portion their sales to the organization.
Participants, offerings, details of those donating proceeds from ice cream sales, July 17-18:
- Blackbelly and Santo in Boulder serving pints of Gelato Boy’s “Gelato for Good” – Sophie’s Berries & Graham. These pints can also be purchased at Gelato Boy locations.
- Ice cream desserts served at Edible Beats restaurants: Root Down, Linger, El Five, Vital Root
- Steuben’s Uptown & Arvada is making a Sophie-inspired Strawberry-Peach Pie Ice Cream with house-made waffle cones
- Sweet Cow – donations from every order for Strawberry ice cream (across all 6 shops)
- The Ice Cream Farm

Sophie’s Neighborhood is a Boulder, CO based nonprofit organization founded in response to Sophie Rosenberg’s, diagnosis of a rare and progressively crippling genetic disorder, Multicentric Carpotarsal Osteolysis (MCTO).
