Truffle Dinner Special at Restaurant Olivia
Restaurant Olivia co-owners Austin Carson, Heather Morrison and Ty Leon will be traveling to Italy next month with visits to Piedmont, Bologna and Rome. They will use this trip for inspiration for their first set of truffle dinners and fans are invited to follow along the journey on Restaurant Olivia’s Instagram page.
After their return, the team will offer three seven-course truffle dinners with both white and black Piedmont truffles on December 11, 12 and 13. Restaurant Olivia is known for their fresh and handmade pastas and these menus will continue with the restaurant’s foundation with a focus on pasta. The seven courses will be priced at $375 for food with the option to add Sommelier or Reserve wine pairings. As always at Restaurant Olivia, prices are inclusive of gratuity and reservations can be booked on Tock.
Reservations will be available for all three evenings starting October 26. Interested guests are encouraged to book their reservation early as Olivia’s previous special dinners – two Mediterranean diners and a Ukrainian pop-up with Bo Porytko of Misfit Snack Bar – sold out in a less than a day. For those who are not able to secure a reservation, Restaurant Olivia plans to introduce a few a la carte truffle dishes starting December 14, while their truffle supply lasts.
“I can’t say what will be on the menus yet; but I know it will be three special nights celebrating truffles and their fleeting season,” said co-owner Ty Leon. “The evenings will be full of truffles and our favorite thing to make – pasta!”
Restaurant Olivia is located in the Wash Park neighborhood at 290 S.
