Alpine Publishing Group is seeking design interns to assist the in-house creative department. The position is hands-on and will give candidates a chance to work closely with designers, editors, and the magazine’s creative director to design various pages for the print edition, as well as other collateral material for the magazine. Candidates will be responsible for creating page layouts with the assistance of the editorial and creative departments; designing media kits and other assets; and designing advertisements for outside clients. Requirements: a degree in graphic design, fine art, or a similar field (or working towards one); a strong portfolio demonstrating an eye for design and detail; working proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign; solid communication skills and ability to follow specific instructions.
