    30th Annual Taste of Vail

    The 30th Annual Taste of Vail is taking place September 16-17 throughout Vail Village. The event this year is a hybrid of both the spring and fall Taste of Vail events with a modified schedule featuring the American Lamb Cook Off on Thursday, a Farm to Table Harvest Dinner on Friday, as well as seminars, a cocktail class, a hike and yoga throughout the weekend.

    Collage Workshop with Local Artist Elisabeth Grace

    Elisabeth is a Denver based artist working in collage, large scale paintings / murals, event / retail installation work, and guided Visual Vinyasa workshops. Learn how to create a one-of-a-kind frame worthy piece of art using recycled photographs. Elisabeth Grace will guide you through creating a successful collage composition packed with intention. You will have the chance to cut up beautiful coffee table books, selecting the imagery that speaks to you. All materials for the workshop will be provided including: fine art heavy-weight paper, vintage books and magazines, pigmented papers, stencils, glue, and scissors. Grab a friend and create together through this unique experience. You are sure to walk away feeling inspired, refreshed, and excited about your rejuvenated artistic abilities.

    Negroni Week

    Negroni Week, a weeklong celebration of the classic three-ingredient cocktail that raises money for meaningful causes around the country. From Sept. 13-19, five Denver Sage Restaurant Concepts restaurants will be participating by serving up a special Chocolate Strawberry Negroni, raising money for No Kid Hungry.

    Pups & Pints

    Small local rescue, A Friend of Jack, is bringing some special furry friends to Improper City September 12 from 5pm-8pm. The pups will be up for adoption and $2 from every can of Bootstrap Brewing’s Lush Puppy IPA sold will be donated to the rescue.
