Our mission at SPATIAL RELATIONS: “Healp” our clients discover or rediscover their connectedness with nature in a way that is healing and restorative—thereby creating their “peace on earth”.

Spatial Relations, LLC Principals: Stephen F. Lappen and Hunter Keefer Margolf (ASID Allied, NKBA, IRIS) have 30+ years of experience and represent a full service Interior Design firm. Our atypical approach to Interior Design utilizes the traditional Interior Design practice, in conjunction with modalities of Feng Shui and Aromatherapy principles, to create spaces that enhance your sense of style and support you while being sustainable, sensuous, and serene. It’s all about the senses!

Inspiration is never literal. For us, inspiration is a force that draws upon all aspects of life and nature. In creating the interior design for the Show House Master Bedroom and Bathroom spaces, first and foremost we wanted the interiors to be transformative and experiential: to engage the viewer and their senses. All six, unless you include whimsy, and then there are seven!

We love the juxtaposition of clean lines with the disruption and contrast of the natural elements. Layered materials, texture and technology drove the design and balance of the rooms; why they practically designed themselves! The inspired healing aspects of Modern Organic Style: Nature’s palliative Renaissance calm insinuated in the inescapable midst of our homes, and screen time. What could be more pleasing?

        ERIKA RUNDIKS

International design with ethnic impact is what drives me. I love other cultures, how they live, eat, and thrive in the world. All societies exhibit beauty in how they live, and this is what interests me. I have owned my own interior design firm for 15 years, translating an aesthetic lifestyle for others. In addition to design I believe in supporting those less fortunate due to where they were born. I am a former Peace Corps volunteer, refugee sponsor, host mom to a student from Honduras and I travel extensively for inspiration.
